Yes. It is 100% sealed, and no water can get in, as long as you follow the instructions correctly.
The pump is for sucking the air from the protector and creating a vacuum. It is used to check the product’s integrity and water-tightness.
Length is inconsequential. The important measurement is the width of the openings. There is no need to stretch the protector. Just adjust it so that the opening/s fit to where you measured the limb.
Do not use a heat source for drying. Just leave the protector somewhere well-ventilated, after drying it with a towel.
Put a little bit of talcum powder inside the protector and shake well. The talcum powder will help the protector slide onto the arm.
